Jessica NC Munoz (aka Jessie) is currently a student at University of California- San Diego, where is working on her Children’s Book Illustration Certification. She actively pursuing a career as an author/ illustrator. She started this journey shortly after her daughter was born and attended her first Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators conference. Jessie was born in Blue Springs, Missouri, but grew up living in several different states across the United States. Graduating with a cum laude from the University of Missouri- Saint Louis, Jessie received her BA in English. Jessie is a military spouse and currently resides in Oceanside, California with her husband and two daughters. During her free time, Jessie loves cuddling her little girls, indulging in chocolate and cheese, and being witness to any form of art. She is a big advocate for love, freedom of speech, and equality.
